Chow Chow puppies

Chow Chow is an old Chinese breed, known for more than 2000 years. It is a descendent of the Han Dog, and the common characteristics with this extinct breed can be observed since the first months of life for Chow Chow puppies. The Chinese carriers used those dogs to guard chariots and horse wagons. Some Chinese emperors had more than 5000 Chow Chow dogs, as they were also the perfect hunting dogs. It was brought in England in 1880, and it was quickly adopted and selected, becoming one of the most appreciated breeds in England and USA, where they are today used as company dogs.
