The Shetland sheepdog puppies are smart, submissive dogs that like to work. They are responsive to the commands of the owner, and careful with other animals. They are great for children, but they don’t like to be bothered by those. It is prudent and careful with strangers.







It is not difficult to take care of this dog. Brushing is necessary once in a while, in certain areas of the body, such as the back of the ears, and on the legs. It is a resistant dog to bad weather, it loves the opened spaces, and it is willing to imply in certain activities. With proper training and exercises, it could become the best dog for a small house or even for an apartment.






It can be easily trained, as it is available to learn. It is smarter than other races, and it is perfect for competitions.
